Designed in consultation with major gas utilities in India, the Nebula Gas Meter aims not only to solve the key challenges faced by gas distribution companies in India but also allows them to harness the power of data to make smarter decisions.
In addition to the benefits afforded to gas utilities, our smart gas meters are designed to offer multiple benefits to ultimate gas users such as flexibility of a “pay-as-you-use” option, visibility of gas consumption patterns, low balance alerts and predictive alerts based on historic gas consumption, easy recharge options and on-demand access to all the customer transactions.
Nebula Smart Gas Meters are smart enough to sense gas flow, record consumption electronically, deduct prepaid balance and automatically activate or deactivate the shut-off valve in pre-configured cases.
Nebula Smart Gas Meters employ Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) to securely transmit data from and to the meter, allowing for timely monitoring and control. The frequency of communication between the meter and the cloud server and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Nebula Smart Gas Meter comes equipped with tamper-proof technology which automatically shuts down the supply of gas to the meter and promptly informs the HES in case a tamper event is detected. It ensures that gas data is secure, ensuring fair billing and preventing unauthorized access.
